Training Starts Young
Who says chickens are dumb? My chickens aren't dumb. When they were tiny little babies I held them alot. When they were a few weeks old I started tilting them on their backs. Now when I flip them over they just lay in my hands and they don't move, like a baby. I also taught them how to sit on my arm, like a perch. Every time I pick them up I pet them around their neck. Then one day when I went into their coop I sat down on my bench and Zahria jumped up and sat down beside me. I pet her and she went to sleep. I taught the chickens how to jump up and get the worm out of my hand. When I go into the gate they all come running to me. Zahria loves me the most and tries to run all the other chickens off.
